LABEL STORY: These are our single varietal wines; uncorrupted and pure. The Rabble labels are renditions of historical wood block prints from the Nuremberg Chronicle (late 1400’s), textured and tactile, depicting nature’s wrath. Nature is ruthless when it goes ignored. This label illustrates the Kraken attacking Dubrovnik.
VINEYARD: Murmur Vineyard South facing sand slope, weathers 25° diurnal shifts, summer sun and bitter winds. Borders the most South Western portion of Santa Maria AVA, 12 miles from the Pacific. Dynamic varieties, clones, and rootstocks.
WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES: Aromas of Meyer lemon, tangerine, apple blossom and hints of wet stone. Flavors of Golden Delicious apples, young mango and freshly baked pie crust are supported with a wonderful raciness and length from the acidity. Very minimal oak and lees influence here with the emphasis on brightness and vibrancy.
