A solid full red wine tasting of peppers, spices, leather and truffle. Many broad flavors and firm tannins. Smooth and delicate in all aspects.
Nose with spices (mix of dried imbir, clove plant and cinnamon). All in good structure with dry red cherries, raspberry jam and tannins in 2nd plan. Greatly balanced spices, fruits, acids and wood over the palate. Long slightly oaky and spicy finish.
To use with red and white meat, poultry and game, and most certainly with heavier cheeses.
