Decanter 92 - Ripe, honeyed, rather subdued nose. Fat, suave, sweet and fine-grained, if without the definition of the Corton-Charlemagne that Leroux served before this sample. A strong flavor of ripe peach is accompanied by subtle honey and spices. The clay soil here retained more water in 2015, which prevented hydric stress. In some vintages this premier cru is a bit too Chardonnay for my taste but not in 2015
Burghound 91 - A deft but not invisible application of wood sets off notes various white orchard fruit, petrol and lychee nut aromas. The super-rich and lavishly proportioned flavors possess excellent concentration as well as plenty of dry extract that coats the palate on the sappy and reasonably persistent finale.
Vinous 90 - Light-medium yellow. Very ripe aromas of peach, apricot and smoky oak. Fat, sweet and generous; quite broad and ready to drink, with a dominant flavor of ripe pear. Finishes tactile and long, with its apricot fruit joined by a note of honey. Very ripe!
