James Suckling 92 - A fruity Priorat with a ripe red-berry and soft-spice character. Medium body and firm tannins. Lovely tension.
This new wine is an absolutely tremendous deal in Priorat, considered by many to be Spain's best (and usually most expensive) wine region. This blend of 45% Garnacha , 30% Carinena, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon expresses rich flavors of black cherry and blackberry flavors that are focused and accented by licorice, mineral and spicy notes with well-integrated tannins. Balanced and elegant, this lovely red features a lingering finish. Mad Wine.
