The Vernaccia di San Gimignano is without doubt the most ancient and most popular white wine in Tuscany. Known throughout the world, it contributed greatly to the popularity of the very picturesque city in which it is produced: San Gimignano, between Florence and Pisa. It appears in the archives since 1276.
A subtle, straw yellow colour. The wine has delicate, penetrating aromas of lemony fruit with some light floral notes. In the mouth it is dry, fresh and persistent with a fruity mid-palate and a slightly bitter, nutty finish.
