100% Negroamaro, one of the most representative red grapes of Salento.  Known for producing wines that are full-bodied, rich, elegant and with the typical soft tannins of the Italian “classics,” the word Negroamaro is a Latin-Greek blend which emphasizes the colour of the grape: niger from Latin “black” and mavros from Greek “dark”. 

This Negroamaro from Puglia has a rich, deep red color. Intensely aromatic, you'll find jammy berry notes along with some black licorice and a hint of chocolate. Medium-bodied, this is an approachable red, highlighted by dark berry fruit flavors and smooth tannins.
