In the aromatics, you will find sweet vanilla reminiscent of pie crust followed by deep dark cherry notes. There are flavors of a Chambord or raspberry liqueur lingering as well behind the vanillan. There are some nice floral notes that lift in the mid aromas.
In the mouth, the dark cherry notes follow the nose and the sweet framboise liqueur notes combine to present a very pure fruit intensity. The mouthfeel is medium but the intensity of the fruit persists and secondary notes of herbs and bittersweet chocolate appear to round out the wine and add a layer of complexity. The tannins are very well integrated and we are excited to share this wine with our friends and customers.
