Wine Advocate 95 - The 2015 Dancing Hares Proprietary Red, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, is very deep purple-black in color with a nose of spice cake, plum pudding, crème de cassis, cigar box, licorice and menthol with a waft of dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, fresh and concentrated with firm, fine-grained tannins, it finishes fresh and long. 350 cases were made.
Vinous 92 - Black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and exotic spice all run through the 2015 Dancing Hares. Voluptuous and racy, the 2015 is undeniably attractive, but it is also a wine of transition, as is quite obvious in tasting through the entire range.
