Disruption Wine is sourcing from the Wahluke Slope for rich and long Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot that gives fantastic color and structure. The cooler Yakima Valley Malbec gives dark fruit and great color with floral aromatics and the Merlot offers velvety mouth-feel and length. The result? A deep garnet wine with notes of cassis and black cherry complimented by fresh sage and tobacco. A generous palate backed up by the ripe tannins of the vintage. Classic Washington.
The Wine Advocate 90 - "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Verdot and the rest Merlot and Malbec) offers purity and finesse, as well as notions of black currants, spring flowers, violets and underbrush. It is medium-bodied, nicely balanced and straight-up delicious. This cuvee is sourced mostly from the Wahluke Slope and is a smoking value!"
