Intense red color. Very good concentration on the nose, with aromas of blackberry and cassis. Juicy and fruity on the palate, with hints of coffee and leather given by the oak. Full bodied, silky tannins and long finish.
The Wine Advocate 89- "The 2012 Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon grown at Lujan de Cuyo shows much more restraint than the Malbec, with subtle aromas of cedar wood, incense and a hint of leather intermixed with the crunchy red and black fruit while the palate displays more dusty-tannins with a pungent sapid sensation that I associate with Cabernet Sauvignon. This is very good value."
International Wine Cellar 88 - "Bright ruby-red. Slightly medicinal aromas of cassis, plum, licorice, mocha, menthol and bitter chocolate. Began juicy and youthfully imploded, showing no easy sweetness to the flavors of dark berries, licorice and herbs, but this is ultimately denser and finer-grained, if tighter, than the Malbec Reserva. Finishes with a serious dusting of youthful tannins.
