From the Languedoc region in the south of France, Grange des Pères is a trailblazing estate. Rather than planting Grenache or Carignan — typical varieties of the region — the red wine here comes instead from Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. This gives the wines a great finesse, complexity and power.
Impressively dense, not only the color, the wine itself. Blackberries and blueberries strings, woven into tobacco, coconut, cloves, bay leaves, a touch of horse, smoke and bacon. Complex and strong. Medium plus tannins. Long and intense finish and some more years aging potential.
