There is a certain high-toned intensity to many of Ken Wright's, which amps up the young fruit. Here the dominant flavors are ripe strawberry, vivid and layered against firm ripe tannins. There's a touch of coffee and dark chocolate running through the finish. For reasons unknown, this new cuvée bears the old Ken Wright label design.
