I had it with Thanksgiving turkey which helped to accentuate its more savory flavors like leather, oak, vanilla, and baking spices. It works as an aperitif, a digestif and went amazing with unsweetened chocolate, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, and apple pie too.
