So, why is this one the game changer? Well, for starters, it's made by Sheridan! They can do no wrong in my book. If you liked the Sheridan Mystique, there is no reason you wouldn't like this wine. It's very similar in style but has a little more of a cocoa finish. Wine Advocate even compares it to the likes of a right-bank Bordeaux!
Wine Advocate 91 - A big, sexy Merlot that's loaded with notions of cassis, saddle leather, cedary spice and toasty oak, the 2015 Merlot from Scott Greer is medium to full-bodied ripe, rounded and savory on the palate, with fine tannin showing on the finish. Drink this St. Emilion look-alike over the coming 4-6 years.
