Tenuta Sant' Antonio Valpolicella Ripasso 2017

( 0 Reviews )

Splendid union between the young and fragrant Valpolicella and the more structured Amarone, Ripasso comes from the culture that has always been synonymous with modernity in Valpolicella. The Monte Garbi di Sant'Antonio, from a careful cut of the typical varieties of the area, is in fact "passed back" with the marcs of the Amarone and subsequently left to mature for about 15/16 months in 500-liter oak tonneau. The result is an elegant and deep red, which is characterized both by a weave that is reminiscent of velvet and by a certain freshness, an ideal combination for a wine suitable for every occasion.

Ruby red. The nose reveals beautiful and pleasant notes of red fruit, especially cherry, plum, blueberry, and sweet spices. On the palate it is soft, enveloping, characterized by a certain tannicity and a good warmth. Of excellent persistence.

It goes well with pasta dishes with Italian meat sauce and sauces, grilled white meat, roasted or stewed, medium-hard hard cheeses.
