The Dr. Deinhard von Winning Reisling is one of those – it’s simply delightful German Sekt (sparkling) wine that is simply a steal for the price. And while you might not think of sparkling wines and Germany in the same sentence, one in four of all the bottles consumed worldwide are done so in Deutschland. Possessing a lovely bubbly citrus aroma married with a dry but still rich, almost creamy flavor, the wine has a long finish that is absolutely charming.
Grown on a selection of different vineyards in and around Deidesheim on chalky, loess-clay soils and red sandstone. A soft citrus aroma and elegant spiciness are the outstanding features of this sparkling wine. As dry as a bone in style, it is a stimulating aperitif for those hot days of the year. A great alternative to Champagne! Seriously yum.
